Comfort Boxes - Glenwood Springs Elks Lodge
We send Comfort Boxes to Soldiers twice a year. April and October.
Soldiers get all the basics they need but none of the extra such as foot power, toothpaste, baby wipes (see right) all items need to be unscented so it doesn’t attract bugs.
The Elk’s Lodge #2286 Collects items all year round. Donation s can be dropped off at the Glenwood Springs Mall at 51027 Highway 6, in Glenwood Springs and the Elks Lodge at 51939 Highway 6#24, Glenwood Springs, CO.
We are always in need of address' of active military to send boxes to.
Are goal is to send 100 boxes this October.
We will be packing boxes on Sunday October 25, 2009 at the Elk’s Lodge.
Cash donations are always welcome to help pay for postage. Boxes for packing are not need.
